This Juneteenth cookbook, developed by the Black ERG, serves as a celebration of freedom, resilience, and Black culinary heritage by pairing traditional family recipes with the deeply personal stories behind them. As the Art Director, I collaborated closely with a Creative Director and our Copy Team to translate these ancestral legacies and personal reflections into a cohesive visual narrative. Together, we designed the collection to honor the creativity and cultural pride of our Black employees, encouraging readers to connect deeply with the history woven into every ingredient. Ultimately, the project stands as a tribute to community and identity, offering a meaningful exploration of the vital connections between food, family, and freedom.
